In order to service the Defence Market in a dedicated manner, SHELTER’s partners created a new venture with former Navy Admiral and an I.T. Specialist to create SHIELD SISTEMAS DE DEFESA (SHIELD), a Strategic Defence Company (EED) focused on Defence consulting and the development of Defence Systems.
SHIELD’s team consist of Retired Navy Officer with over 30 years of experience in the Brazilian Navy, all of them retired with a rank of Captain or Admiral and thus possess in-depth knowledge of the operations and systems currently present in the Brazilian Navy. Moreover, SHIELD has access to many consultants that are actively working on Defence projects with the Brazilian Armed Forces.
In addition to the military intelligence, SHIELD also possesses members with technical expertise in developing systems from design to implementation and maintenance.
The consultants at SHIELD have extensive experience in Defence Projects, mainly in the Naval sector performing or conducting research, projects, scientific and technological development. Although the company focuses mainly on Military Defence, its wide network of contacts as well as its strategic partnerships provides competence in Civil Defence as well.
Though SHIELD is based in Brazil, its professionals have experience working and living overseas in places such as USA, France, China and Australia. Foreign Defence Companies have become major players in the Brazilian Market and thus SHIELD continues to nurture new and existing partnerships in order to participate in Tenders from the Brazilian Navy, Army and Air Force.
